**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Junior Medical Workforce Coordinator to join the Medical Workforce Unit at Mercy Health.

The Medical Workforce Unit (MWU) is responsible for all key aspects of medical staff recruitment, contracting, credentialing, workforce planning and management of the well-being of Mercy Health’s Junior and Senior medical workforce. The unit comprises of a Senior Medical and Junior Medical Workforce team located at our Werribee and Heidelberg Campuses and work in collaboration with Mercy Health’s Unit Heads, Clinical Service and Program Directors.
- **In this role you will work as part of the junior medical team located at our Heidelberg campus (Mercy Hospital for Women).**

This role is responsible for the junior medical workforce activities including advertising, appointment, on-boarding, contract preparation, rotation preferencing as well as supporting units with Master Roster building for junior medical staff employed at Mercy Hospital for Women (Heidelberg campus). This position will be assigned a portfolio of clinical areas to oversee. We are looking for a highly organized individual, with a flexible work ethic and high attention to detail. If you possess an exceptional sense of customer service as well as the ability to schedule and manage tight timeframes, you will be rewarded with variety in your role.

**To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have**:

- Previous experience managing a large number of staff, (previous experience managing junior or senior medical staff will be highly regarded)
- Previous experience in staffing recruitment and appointment processes and principles
- Previous experience using applicable HR, rostering and payroll systems
- Previous experience developing efficient office work processes
