**Permanent Full Time Opportunity**
**38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight (**Rostered Day Off)**
**Salary ranging from $68,381.56 $79,470.56 p.a plus 11% Superannuation (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)**

**About the Role**
**The purpose of this position is to participate in the construction of Council’s roads and drainage infrastructure assets. This position works across multidisciplined areas and project teams, assisting in a variety of manual labouring, plant operation and skilled construction tasks.

The position will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and at times may interact with community members.

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate III in Construction or related discipline and demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage) operating of construction equipment and tools relevant to the field.
- Proven ability to follow instructions within a team environment, and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

- Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
- Hold and maintain MR Class Drivers Licence, Traffic Control Combo (Stop Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Plans) and WHS Induction Card with a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment; Level 1 Accredited Chainsaw - Trim & Crosscut Fallen Trees, Working near live electrical apparatus (non-electrical worker) certification, and current First Aid certificate.
- Maintain MR drivers licence without restriction and ability to operate manual transmission
- Be willing to participate in on-call roster and overtime (where applicable)
