**About the Role**
**An Operations Tradesperson will work out of our Infrastructure Branch. As an Operations Tradesperson you will be is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Councils assets and infrastructure. You will also work in small specialist or project teams involved in operations of roads, maintenance and construction. You will be required to work under direct supervision and complete day-to-day manual labouring tasks.

**Essential Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage).
- Demonstrated practical experience in the operation of a range of plant and machinery relevant to the field.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in manual labouring roles across a variety of projects in construction and
- maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions within a team environment, and to communicate effectively with internal
- and external customers.
- Practical understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, awareness of environmental impacts, legislation and
- responsibilities
- Current WHS Construction Induction White Card.
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence.
