**About the Business Unit**

The Corporate Support and Infrastructure group supports the whole of the department to deliver positive outcomes for the community through responsive, reliable, and efficient corporate services. Our focus is on providing services that add value and are adaptable to business needs, while maintaining high standards and compliance.

**About the role**

The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for providing high level authoritative human resources advice to senior staff across the MRC. The role manages a team of Human Resource Officers and is responsible for ensuring all data, Workcover, payroll and associated activities is accurate and complies with relevant policies and legislation.

This position requires direct prisoner contact and may involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the VPS Determination.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in generalist human resources functions, including the ability to administer payroll and relevant legislation and employment conditions, recruitment, Workcover and file management
- Demonstrated HR experience, preferably within a public sector environment.
- Human Resource Systems: demonstrated ability in the use of CHRIS21 and other payroll systems.

This includes evidence of **three doses** of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

Acceptable evidence includes:

- COVID-19 digital certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
