The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

This is a full-time ongoing role with a combination of office days and work from home - the best of both worlds

**Who are we looking for?**

Your skills extend beyond a traditional "Executive Assistant" role - because this isn't an EA role You facilitate engagement and partnership with internal and external stakeholders in line with Ahpra’s national goals.

You will have a good understanding of project coordination and event management (again, a part of the role) as well as the ability to build internal knowledge and relationships. You will have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and resolve issues independently in a complex environment and effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

We are seeking someone with strong experience in providing high level, professional and confidential secretariat support with great interpersonal skills and a passion for turning what we hear into action.

With a broad range of community groups, employers and peak bodies in NSW you will be involved in helping deliver our Engagement Strategy and to understand what our community needs from their health regulator.

This role is yours to own. Working with people committed to the protection of the public through empathetic regulation of 16 registered health professions.

Our Sydney office located on the land of the Gadigal people is a strong, diverse team built on its ability to respond to organisational needs and keep its people front and centre.
