**Description**

As a Procurement Specialist, you will proactively assist and manage the end-to-end varied procurement processes and contracting activities across a range of associated suppliers and subcontracts. This will require hands-on proactive and transactional experience with the establishment and management of any number of commercial, procurement and contracting documents.

Your key areas of responsibility will be:

- Executing, tasking and supporting to deliver effective contracts management for all projects
- Initiating, drafting, evaluating and negotiating subcontracts
- Managing the inputs and reviews from a commercial and pre-contracting aspect with RFx evaluation activities to achieve the best value-for-money outcomes for the organisation and mitigate risk exposure
- Managing, administering and controlling audits/analysis as to cost and performance alongside routine payment, insurance, risk profiles, and other administration issues

**Profile**
- Relevant qualifications in commercial or project management
- Detailed working knowledge of ASDEFCON, complex and strategic acquisition and support procurement and contracting with effective project risk and issue/commercial management
- Expertise in strategy/planning/program management
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to support the global team as required
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
- Previous experience in defence or manufacturing environment would be highly desirable
