i-Motor, part of carsales, provides website solutions in Australia and internationally, to automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and dealers, as well as dealers in other industries including caravans, bikes, boats, trucks and equipment.

It has achieved excellent growth since its creation twelve years ago. i-Motor currently has a team of 40+ employees managing 1,700+ websites. Along with developing innovative digital retail solutions and providing stock and data services to the automotive industry, i-Motor is transforming its website platform to support its growth ambition.

This is your opportunity to join i-Motor in this newly created role as Sales and Marketing Director. In this role you will, lead the sales and marketing team (a team of six), design the customer acquisition strategy and action plans, execute plans to deliver business (revenue) growth and build customer relationships to drive acquisition, retention and repeat business.

**Job Description**:
**What you will do**
- Develop strategic sales plans to provide organisational clarity, drive customer acquisition, and deliver revenue (and margin) growth.
- Lead the process to identify and explore new markets to support business growth.
- Drive and support the sales team to execute all approved sales plans and deliver on approved revenue targets.
- Build and sustain key relationships amongst current customers and cultivate new relationships for future revenue growth.
- Work collaboratively with the development team in the design and creation of new products and services to drive improved product yield and/or penetration into new markets.
- Design and execute general go-to-market strategies for new products/services.
- Periodically review product pricing, providing pricing recommendations and general go-to-market strategies.

- Demonstrated leadership experience in sales and business development roles, with an ability to meet aggressive growth objectives in a transforming business.
- Proven ability to engage and develop existing talent in a sustainable manner, striving to build unity and high levels of employee engagement resulting in the creation of a high performing team.
- Strong strategic capabilities and business acumen with a customer focused approached.
- Skilled business developer with the motivation to seize business opportunities. A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally, bring on new partners and secure new business.
- Demonstrated success in taking corporate strategy and bringing it to life whilst growing the business.
- Experience working with digital/tech products and/or experience in the automotive industry is highly regarded.
