**About the role**

Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team. Based out of our Sunshine Coast office, this role will support our local team as well as some Brisbane portfolios.

This is an amazing opportunity as you will get to own the HR Business Partner role in its entirety. You will have the opportunity to work with the leadership team to set the strategic plan for your portfolio, execute it and see the results firsthand. We are a construction company, so you need to be (or be able to get) comfortable on a construction site and be happy to flex to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include (but are certainly not limited to):

- Help create and foster a high performing workplace culture that attracts and retains talented employees.
- Challenge and contribute to business decisions to optimise the workforce.
- Partner with managers to meet business requirements around resourcing, capability, and performance.
- Provide employee relations advice and support to employees and leadership teams.
- Support leaders with project resource/workforce planning.
- Assist in the identification and coordination of training requirements.
- Support the delivery of key HR projects and plans in conjunction with the broader HR team.
- Build strong and effective working relationships with all levels of the business.

**About you**

We want someone who is passionate about HR and has the runs on the board to demonstrate that your passion translates into action.
- Strong HR generalist knowledge and experience, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian employment legislation and ability to interpret and advise on Enterprise Agreements and Award conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully build relationships with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to ‘think outside the box’ to find creative solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Be willing to travel to and work from our construction sites on a regular basis
- Previous experience working within construction or blue collar/trade environments is highly desirable.
