**Your Role**

An exciting opportunity exists to join our leading Dispute Resolution team as a Legal Billing Assistant/ Executive Assistant. This role will support our Property and Development, Leasing Disputes team. You will collaborate with the other Legal Executive Assistants in the team to support each other and the team as a whole.

We are looking for someone who thoroughly enjoys and has experience in legal billing as approximately 80% of the workload is related to legal billing.

As key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Processing and finalising bills, including sending them to clients and uploading to client's billing portals, eg: VendorCafe
- Providing support in financial and matter management
- Processing purchase orders (Pos) and estimate uplifts as part of the matter maintenance to ensure seamless running of the EOM billing process
- Project managing a high volume of bills
- Assisting with establishing systems for billing arrangements
- Maintaining a regular review of current financial processes and working with estimates
- Managing files, including opening and closing, both electronically and physically
- Performing conflict clearance checks and managing confidential information
- Drafting both electronic and hard copy correspondence, as well as document preparation and amendments, including urgent daily distribution of letters of demand by express post/courier.

**What you need**:
To be successful in this role, it's essential to bring experience from a role focused on billing processing. You must also have excellent attention to detail and be proactive.

You will also possess the following attributes:

- Strong understanding of client billing
- Experience using systems such as Elite 3E, Aderant or Infinity law (desirable)
- Experience working in processing high volumes of bills
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills including document and spreadsheet creation
- High level of accuracy/attention to detail, organisation ability and able to work under pressure esp during EOM period
- A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, industry experts and clients.
