Our Urbanism & Planning team in Melbourne are currently looking for an Urban Designer to work across diverse project portfolio within a multi-disciplinary environment.

**The Role**

AECOM is looking for an enthusiastic Urban Designer to join the Urbanism + Planning team, a progressive group of landscape architects, planners and urban designers that work collaboratively and across disciplines within the Melbourne office and as part of a national team delivering city-shaping projects.

As part of the team you will contribute to a design studio environment, where you can develop confidence in your skills, and where you will be valued and rewarded for your creativity, collaboration and innovation. AECOM is committed to supporting your skills and career growth, with a range of opportunities and projects across Victoria and interstate.

In this role you will be given the opportunity to develop integrated urban design concepts for a range of projects, urban design frameworks, and guidelines for major development, precincts, infrastructure and other large-scale projects. You will help build positive client relationships and work with our development, government and infrastructure clients to design and deliver great places.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- Tertiary degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or similar
- Proven experience in supporting delivery of Urban design packages;
- Demonstrable experience in working with State or Federal Government clients/projects;
- Be able to produce written and illustrative documentation that is of a high standard and in accordance with AECOM and/ or Project standard formats
- Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and AutoCAD 3D modelling (Rhino/Sketch Up/Revit) programs
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with a broad range of clients, stakeholders and project partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience within a consultancy environment, preferred but not essential.
