**Role overview**:
As an Asset Strategy Manager at the Port of Melbourne (PoM), you will play a pivotal role in Australia's largest maritime hub. You will lead a small team of engineers dedicated to enhancing asset management engineering strategies and life cycle plans, while prioritising safety, reliability and integrity of the PoM’s assets. **About you**:
Ideally, you possess a proven track record in enhancing asset management strategies and asset management plans within an asset owner or consulting environment. Your ability to lead and mentor a small team will hold you in good stead to drive outcomes and influence key business objectives effectively.
**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Lead a small team of professional engineers through mentoring and fostering an inclusive team culture.
- Maintain and enhance elements of the Compass, including AMP’s, engineering strategies and workflows to maintain accreditation to ISO550001.
- Develop and refine the suite of Engineering Strategies for the asset classes under the control of the Asset Management department taking into consideration all legislative, engineering standards, requirements, and policies.
- Take the lead in strategic lifecycle modelling for PoM assets
- Collaborate with various business areas to achieve overarching goals
