LABOURER (PARKS & GARDENS/TREES) - LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Your local government team is currently looking to expand its green team with multiple positions available across their Parks and Tree crews. Our client is looking for experienced professionals with a great attitude and a love for teamwork, eager to spend their days in some of Moreton Bays best gardens, grounds and parks.

These positions offer a fantastic work-life balance with a 9 day working fortnight as well as early starts and finishes. Our client is one of the largest employers in the region, and with multiple locations available, there is plenty of opportunity to work close to home.
- $30.65/hour + Weekly pay + Super
- Casual ongoing, full-time hourly basis

**Parks Labourer**
- Grass Cutting/ Mowing
- Whipper Snipping
- Herbicide Application
- Tree Maintenance
- Litter Removal
- Traffic Management
- Improvement and Planting

**Trees Crew Member**
- Cutting and trimming trees
- Maintaining and operating machinery (chippers & chainsaws)
- Physically intensive, level of fitness required
- Assisting arborist teams with ground labour

These positions are perfect for people that love physical work as well as the great outdoors. No two days are the same, as you will be travelling to different locations around the region to maintain the local government’s assets and infrastructure.

**To Be Successful**:

- Minimum Requirement - White Card, MR License, PPE Gear
- Demonstrated previous experience in a relevant field
- Chainsaw ticket highly desired for Trees Crew Position
- HR License and ACDC Ticket highly regarded
