- Based at Olympic Venue - Sydney International Equestrian Centre
- Ongoing (permanent) Full-Time, Basis.

**About the role**
- The Sydney International Equestrian Centre is a unique sporting and event destination, located in the Western Sydney Parklands only 40 minutes west of the Sydney CBD.
- The Events Officer is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and operations of all events staged across the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
- As part of this diverse role, you will also liaise with event organisers to predict demand for infrastructure and services to support events. The role will also require an ability to work weekends and evenings as required.

**About you**
- You will have a demonstrated ability to assist in all aspects of event planning, coordination, marketing, and operations.
- You can deal effectively and professionally with business clients and industry stakeholders whilst managing their expectations and balancing competing priorities. You foster a positive customer experience, and you are technology savvy.
- Understanding of WH&S, visitor safety and risk management issues as well as the proven ability to work both in a team environment and independently will see you succeed in this role.

**How to apply**

- Provide a resume that details your current and previous experiences (maximum of 4 pages)

**Pre-screening questions**
- Give an example of where you have had to work with government or non-government stakeholders to plan and deliver an event. How did you manage conflicting priorities of stakeholders to ensure the success of the event.
- Give an example of where you have had to deal with a customer complaint. Explain the approach you took when dealing with the issues raised and how you reached a satisfactory outcome for the customer.
