We have an exciting opportunity to join the support office in Port Melbourne as a Payroll Compliance Officer in our Joint Ventures team. As a payroll officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with Modern Awards.
**About the Role**:
- Implement successful Time & Attendance systems across all stores within the Total Tools Joint Venture Network
- Upskill payroll teams in Total Tools Joint Venture Network on Time & Attendance systems, processes, and payroll compliance.
- Create governance and compliance process using Time & Attendance systems, and payroll processing to ensure Joint Venture Network stores can achieve compliance.
- Provide advice and support on remedial issues to support the Joint Venture network
- Provide advice and support to our Joint Venture partners, on end to end payroll queries.
**Skills and Experience**:
- 1+ years’ experience in a payroll role or similar
- Strong experience in using MS Office with intermediate skills in excel.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
