We are seeking an enthusiastic Educators to join our team at Altona Early Years Hub. Altona Early Years Hub provides families with a state-of-the-art early years facility located on the site of the Altona College P-9 School. The hub's team of nurturing and experienced educators deliver high quality and inclusive childcare within their three and four-year-old kindergarten programs that help each child realise their potential. At the heart of this facility is the belief that each child is a competent learner from birth.

**Position 1**: Certificate III Educator - Part time position working 16 hours a week on Monday and Friday between the hours of 7am - 6pm. This is an ongoing opportunity.

**Position 2**: Diploma Educator - Full time position working 38 hours a week from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 6pm (a rotating roster) This position will be a fixed term contract from 9 October 2023 until 26 April 2024. There may be other opportunities to remain with ECMS after this date.

**What will you do?**
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

**More about you**
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Experience working as an Assistant Educator in a long day care service
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
