We are currently seeking an **Operations Manager, People and Inclusion **to be based in** Melbourne.** Working closely with the National Managing Partner and People and Inclusion Leadership Team, it will seek to provide strategic alignment across people activities and have a great understanding of both COE strategies and Divisional people strategies to develop our people plan. The role will have exposure to executive decision making and access to the most senior levels of KPMG and have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Your opportunity

In your new role you will be responsible for activities including (but not limited to) the following:

- Inform strategy and decision-making for the People & Inclusion team and support the leadership team to perform at a continuously high level
- Manage operational cadence for the P&I leadership team, along with long-range planning activities to ensure alignment across P&I teams and relevant stakeholders across KPMG.
- Run weekly leadership meetings and drive quarterly and annual planning
- Plan and support executive level reporting from P&I to National Executive Committee (NEC and Board, along with other senior forums as required
- Drive process improvement across the P&I team, process and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivity
- Lead strategic projects for both the internal HR team and HR driven business initiatives such as performance development, headcount planning and team engagement

- Strong change, project and time management skills
- Advanced PPT skills and the ability to create captivating and clear presentations for executive meetings
- A strong HR generalist background, ideally within a consulting environment
- A history of partnering well with senior leadership teams to develop a culture of innovation, excellence, and openness
- Critical thinking and data analysis skills with success in working cross-functionally to implement solutions to business issues
- The ability to adopt a structured consulting approach while using organisational insight to provide relevant guidance and advice to address business needs
- The ability to use organisational change management tools and practices to effectively communicate, enable and respond with agility to change
- A highly collaborative approach with the ability to quickly build strong and trusted relationships across leadership teams, cross-firm partners, and key stakeholders
- Energy to get things done in an iterative approach, willingness to dive into any area required and be efficient with no / limited resources
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills at all levels, with an ability to advocate and obtain necessary buy-in for programs
