**About the branch**
Workforce Capability and Assurance provides a key enabling function, supporting the development of agency capability and providing the agency with the assurance that it continues to meet its legislative obligations. The branch is responsible for the delivery of all human resource and people strategies, as well as protecting the agency, its people and its capabilities through an integrated protective security and integrity function. Workforce Capability and Assurance supports employee wellbeing, as well as provides critical support to intelligence operations by oversighting the agency’s use of certain powers, ensuring legislative compliance and contributing to operational outcomes.

**About the role**
HR Advisors (Recruitment) are critical in supporting the Agency and its people, from delivering on attraction, recruitment and retention strategies, to supporting employees and managers in relation to entitlements or wellbeing. HR Advisors drive the design, delivery and implementation of strategies which contribute to organisational goals and priorities, or those which support staff and managers.

As a HR Advisor, you will have well-developed organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a sound analytical ability. You will be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships in order to deliver high quality advice and support to stakeholders, including the senior executive. In addition, you will be innovative, a problem-solver and committed to delivering exceptional service to the agency.
- Provides high-quality advice and services to stakeholders on a range of HR-related functions.
- Leads the development of HR policies and procedures that meet legislative and agency requirements..
- Communicates effectively, developing and maintaining productive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Identifies and implements improved HR processes and workflows which reflect innovative and forward leaning HR practices.
- Provides accurate operational and strategic advice in relation to industrial instruments, relevant legislation and policies.
- Manages complex people cases with expertise, sensitivity and discretion
