**The Role**

Legal Services’ Community Legal Education team supports and assists the general public, community workers and legal practitioners to stay up to date with developments in the law by publishing a library of reference materials (print and online), education resources, and delivering community legal education programs.

The Education Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of community education and training programs, and the participation in large scale community engagement activities (expos, and community events) to increase awareness and understanding of State and Commonwealth laws and the services and programs accessible through Legal Services.

**Salary**

$84,522 - $94,003 per annum (ASO5) plus superannuation, leave loading and access up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) savings.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Legal Services Commission is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

- Demonstrated ability to constructively research and analyse matters, and to formulate and implement solutions in response to identified needs and priorities.
