Environmental Site surveillance Officer job in Melbourne for a major transport operator.

A key stakeholder in the development & delivery of a very broad portfolio of projects spanning all functional areas of rail infrastructure, rollingstock and operations.
**Your new role**
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing routine construction surveillance activities and to assist the director and team members in surveillance activities on nominated contract works to meet technical and quality requirements to provide assurance for the administration of rail, road and civil building construction and maintenance projects to ensure safe delivery
- Monitoring and reporting of all onsite activities across a broad range of projects
- Providing staff a safe workplace where risks are identified, understood and managed and a safe environment for customers and visitors is maintained
**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as having tertiary qualifications in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or a related discipline, you’ll have:
- Experience in environmental and infrastructure related projects
- Experience in construction management with respect to safety, environment, quality & risk
- Experience as a supervisor, within a greenfields or brownfields environment
