**About the role**:
A fantastic opportunity to join Box Hill Institute on a part time basis (0.8 FTE) as our TAE Teacher until June 2024

The TAE Teacher is a vocational teaching expert who delivers and assesses classes in TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Box Hill Institute to a range of cohorts. The Cert IV TAE Program at Box Hill is delivered in a range of modes including face to face classes, virtual classes and blended classes depending on the needs of the cohort.

As the TAE Teacher, you will be providing high-quality delivery and assessment, designed to support students to achieve the knowledge and skills required to secure employment as a VET Teacher in TAFE, other Registered Training Organisations or in Industry.

You will be involved in providing engaging, innovative and evidence-based learning experiences to students using the BHI learning and assessment materials whilst also providing meaningful feedback to students to help them build skills to achieve their learning and employment goals.
- This role is fixed term until June 2024 and is part time - 4 days per week (0.8 FTE). The salary is MEAL 3 dependent on qualifications. _

**About You**:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment **AND**:

- TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, **or**:

- TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor, **or**:

- A higher-level qualification in Adult Education
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and passion for delivering engaging course material and lessons
- Experience in planning and researching for the preparation of programs and learning materials and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools that would ensure a successful training program
- Appreciation of administrative requirements required for the coordination of vocation education and training
- Knowledge and experience utilising student management systems for attendance tracking and results
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to provide support and advice to students and BHI employees of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities
