**About the Opportunity**
You will be an expert at providing great customer experiences. This role is a great pathway for a customer centric professional or HR professional looking to build and develop a career in People & Culture (P&C). In this role you will have the opportunity to gain exposure and network with P&C Professionals across the Department.

**About People & Culture**
Within DCS, our three P&C Portfolios support over 13,000 + teammates working across multiple agencies who deliver on our vision to be the world’s most customer-centric government. People & Culture are focused on delivering a better people experience, supporting and enabling the business to deliver success and adopt new ways of working by embracing innovation and positive collaboration.

**A typical day of work for you might include**:

- Providing an excellent customer experience over the phone in relation to HR enquires
- Provide a range of HR administrative services including human resource information system (HRIS) administration, data management and reporting
- Respond promptly to customers with accurate information on a wide range of HR related enquiries
- Upholding strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, enhancing our service delivery to improve customer satisfaction by assessing and updating methods, procedures and processes
- Actively participate in projects across the team.

**Let’s talk about you**

To be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills and experience, including:

- Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment
- A customer centric and people centric mindset
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work on a rotating roster covering the span of hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Great organisational & time management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in using HRIS / Payroll systems such as SAP HR would be advantageous
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service driven culture
