Successful, iconic Australian-owned company is seeking an experienced Retention Specialist for their retail and convenience business. The companies offering transitions across convenience, QSR, and Fuel.

**About the role**:
We are seeking an energetic Retention Specialist to join an expanding team to help manage and assisting in growing a portfolio of new and established clients.

You will be responsible for growing, maintaining, and developing the relationship for all customers in the Card portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

- Proactively calling existing customers to maintain their relationship.
- Dealing with incoming retention / account queries, issues, and the day to day needs of customers as they arise, including standard account calls and customer retention calls both proactive and reactive.
- Follow communication, expansion, retention, and cancelation procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Make outbound calls to potential new customers for new business acquisition.
- Assist with customer calls to the Call Centre:

- Exceptional phone manner and active listening skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to meet competing deadlines, and manage priorities and outcomes.
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). ERP system experience is a bonus but not essential **(training provided).
