**About the role**:
We are looking for a People Capability Lead to join our Capability and Organisational Development team This is a newly created position where you will get the chance to lead a team of Capability Specialists and drive both Divisional and Business area learning and capability development projects.

You’ll be reporting into the Capability and Organisational Development Manager, and will lead the design and development of fit for purpose capability and competency frameworks and contribute to the development and implementation of the WesCEF Learning and Capability Development Strategy.
- Other responsibilities will also include:_
- Lead the design, development and delivery of learning solutions and programs to build organisational capability and maintain a skilled, competent workforce.
- Advise, educate and influence stakeholders on capability development, competency management and governance.
- Lead, coach and develop team members to build and deliver effective learning programs across all delivery mediums.
- Design learning systems and processes to align to WesCEF HR & HSE processes and deliver a positive learner experience.

**What you bring**:

- Relevant tertiary requirements such as; Certificate in IV Workplace Training and Assessment and/or Diploma of Training Design and Development or other Business, HR or Training Qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience as a senior learning professional, with exposure to both professional and operational workforces
- Demonstrated success in in leading and mentoring a team of learning professionals.
- Strong knowledge and experience in developing and managing capability and competency based frameworks.
- Expertise in learning needs analysis, learning design and adult learning principals.
- A growth mindset, real focus on continuous improvement and able to hit the ground running
