**The Opportunity**

Centurion is currently searching for an experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our team based out of our Rocklea Office. This role is responsible for working with external and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and cost-effective scheduling of the Heavy Haulage fleet’s movements.

**Tasks & Responcibilities**
- Schedule, coordinate and monitor movement of company fleet, comprising of company and sub-contracted drivers & vehicles
- Occasional site inspections & wharf attendance (MSIC Card Advantageous)
- Adhoc requirement to help with quotation overflow, review costs and invoicing
- Provide back up for operations manager & supervisors during leave periods
- Establish and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Meet weekly safety, administrative and financial Key Performance Measures
- Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Line Manager or Immediate Supervisor
- Ensure safe, cost effective and reliable distribution and collection of freight
- Ensure subcontractors are compliant with Centurion requirements including fatigue management
- Ensure optimum configuration and maintenance of best practice
- Encourage and promote Centurion’s Think Safe, Act Safe culture

**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ year of experience in similar role within Transport & Logistics industry
- Fleet allocation and scheduling experience
- Sound geographical knowledge of Queensland roads
- Strong people management skills
- Experience in costing analytics
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage/lead staff and delegate tasks effectively
