**The opportunity***

We are seeking **an Aerospace Worker - Wash Bay Attendant**to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team supporting the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP) located at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland.

As our newest employee, you will be an integral part of our Wash Bay team, where you will be contributing to the Australia's Air Power by supporting the Super Hornet and Growler Aircraft.

**Responsibilities**
- Washing of the Super Hornet and Growler Aircraft, Product, Parts and Appliances
- The operation and maintenance of equipment in the Wash Bay
- Meet team, business unit and organisational goals in a positive and collaborative environment.
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures, including Working at Heights

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is essential with a Certification equivalent to Certificate II in Aeroskills or Certificate IV in Aeroskills theory.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 security clearance.
- Previous experience with conducting aircraft wash maintenance support activities within a military aircraft maintenance environment. (Desirable)
- Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Electrical Integrity Testing (EIT), or equivalent, qualification (Desirable)

**Security Clearance***

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (NV1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
