AXIA Solutions is an established Preferred Provider of Supervised Transport and Supervised Contact Services throughout NSW and across Australia. The program is dedicated to assisting the Department of Family and Community Services in the care of children placed in Out of Home Care._

We are committed to upholding the rights and safety of children and work collaboratively with Child Protection Services, the family and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve this. At AXIA Solutions the child's safety is paramount._
- To ensure the safety and well being of children in your care at all times
- Safely transport children and families to appointments, access visits, extra curricular activities, school or any other confirmed location (this can include regional driving)
- Supervise children and ensure their needs are being met
- Maintain communication with management staff as necessary and report any Risk of Significant Harm
- Maintain confidentiality

**Essential Criteria**:

- Working with Children's Check valid for paid employment
- National Police Check issued within the last 12 months
- Current First Aid certificate
- Your own comprehensively insured vehicle with at least two anchor points
- A current unrestricted drivers licence
- An excellent driving record
- First Aid Kit, Fire Blanket and Fire Extinguisher (or willingness to obtain)
- A mobile phone you can always make calls from that can access the Internet
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- High standard of personal presentation
- Minimum availability of 3 mornings (between 630am and 930am) or 3 afternoons (between 2pm and 430pm)
- Kindness, empathy and understanding
- Willingness to drive long distances and out of your local area
- Good physical health _Please note: You may be required to lift and/or assist children up to the weight of 30kgs._

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience working with infants, children or young people
- Access to one forward facing child restraint and one booster seat, which meet Australian Standard AS1754
- Studying Community Services, Social Work or a related field

This position is suitable for those looking to gain experience in the Community Services and Social Work fields.
