**Anglo American Steelmaking Coal**
Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia.

**Job Description**:

- An exciting opportunity exists within our Supply Chain function on a permanent basis at our Brisbane Corporate Office. The Procurement Systems Officer provides analyst service support for end user and supplier queries that connect our Global Shared Services (GSS) teams and Supply Chain to deliver effective systems management for all Supply Chain engagements.

This role will see you accountable for:

- Support core Supply Systems (ARIBA Business Network, Request for Contract (RFC), ARIBA SLP (Supplier Onboarding), ARIBA Sourcing and Contracts) by providing analyst support, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Support with the maintenance of the query register and ensure status of queries are accurate and visible to end-users
- Act as a point of contact for Supply Chain queries relating to new requests, information or access requirements
- Be the contact for GSS queries and connect with the commercial team to assign responsibility for resolution
- Follow-up on outstanding queries in a timely manner, and support escalation where additional information or assistance is required for resolution
- Provide analyst support to supplier onboarding and align with the People Master Data team
- Align with category and commercial teams on general query resolution effectiveness and user experiences
- Provide data analysis and benchmarking for digitalisation improvements and compile research as required

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated experience within a systems team or relevant Supply Chain role
- Experience in SAP and ARIBA suite of systems
- A bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics or related industry (desirable)
- Sound technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain, including Supply Chain systems and processes
- Good people engagement and problem solving skills
- Self-starter with a mindset for continuous improvement to Supply Chain systems and processes
