The Project Finance Analyst contributes to the delivery of timely and accurate analysis and reporting of financial and other data in relation to the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP).
The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to engage effectively with multi-disciplined project support teams to understand key financial drivers of the LXRP.
On a day-to-day basis you will be building and managing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as:
- Performing transactional activities such as cyclical reporting and annual reporting.
- Taking a functional look at what is happening financially in each area of LX.
- Comparing spending to budget.
- Solving financial issues.
- Accommodating stakeholder requests with the allocated budget in their team.
- Managing funds and ensuring consistency of financial decisions.
The Project Finance Analyst position is a 3-year fixed term contract, paying between $90,067 - $102,192 + super with a hybrid working arrangement. This includes a combination of working from home and in the office in the CBD.

Let's get technical What will we expect from you?
- Intermediate Office 365 skills, particularly in relation to Excel.
- Intermediate skills in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools. Experience with Oracle in a project environment will be highly regarded.
- A sound understanding of the accounting and budgeting principles and standards as applied in the government sector.
