**The business**:
Business & Private Bank’s Merchant Services division was broken into 3 sub-domains being Merchant Acquiring, NAB Hive & HICAPS. After some exciting changes in the business, Merchant Acquiring and NAB Hive are now one, as we continue to invest in building market leading solutions for our customers, we continue to offer unique and exciting opportunities for our people.

**The role**:
As our new Head of Product Ownership within Merchant Services, you have accountability for our Merchant Products transformation program and leading a talented group of Product Owners delivering some exciting features for our customers. You will work in partnership with the Product Management and Delivery teams to shape the backlog of product capability requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are working together to deliver the outcomes for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Lead the delivery of the Merchant Product transformation plan to agreed cost, benefit and timeframe targets
- Lead, mentor and coach a team of Product Owners with a focus on best practice, process uplift and capability
- Ensure backlogs are being managed effectively and prioritising the most crucial features first in a logical delivery sequence
- Work with the Merchant Product team to input into the overall product strategy and roadmaps
- Collaborate with Merchant Products and enabling domains to align delivery plans, remove roadblocks and enable do-ability
- Provide critical planning and prioritisation for product ownership and delivery capabilities required including resource allocation for non-persistent capabilities

**What you will bring**:
With a significant breadth of product delivery related experience, you will have broad merchant services product knowledge and industry insight to help support a better delivery experience for the business and our customers.

You will have a strong track record in execution and driving change, together with excellent senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with a proven ability to garner advocacy for strategic initiatives that leads to delivery.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Proven resilience and tenacity in delivering large, complex, multi-year strategic programs of work
- Experience with Enterprise-wide program delivery
- Strong track record in delivery
- Building & leading outperforming teams with outstanding engagement
- End to end business leadership (inc. financial, people, risk, product, etc)
