About the Role
As an Electorate Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient functioning of the Member of Parliament. Your expertise in office administration and dedication to delivering excellent constituent services will be essential in assisting the supervising Member of Parliament.

**Key responsibilities in this role include**:

- Handling general office administration, including diary management, with sound decision-making and discretion in scheduling engagements and appointments.
- Identifying stakeholder engagement opportunities for the Member's active participation in local community events and projects.
- Overseeing the Electorate budget, ensuring accurate reconciliation of reports, invoice processing, and account management.
- Handling constituent queries with sensitivity.
- Preparing thoughtful responses on a wide range of matters, adapting to varying levels of complexity.
- Proactively representing the Member on local issues.

Professional growth opportunities are available through departmental training. Individual training opportunities are available in discussion with the Member.

Salary and Job Type
Electorate Officer salaries are set out in the Electorate Officers (Victoria) Single Enterprise Agreement 2021.
This position is a full-time ongoing opportunity at $80,227 (per annum) plus 10.5% employer superannuation.
