We are looking for dedicated disability support workers to join the friendly, supportive and positive Residential Support Worker team in
**Greater Geelong and Barwon region**.

**About the role**:
We have just acquired a new residential house located in Armstrong Creek and are looking for talented and dedicated staff to join us We currently have
**10 vacancies for Permanent Part Time placements.**

In this position, you will work rostered shifts to support children/young people with a disability living in Out of Home Care. The main goal of this position is to provide the day-to-day care (physical and emotional) of children and young people with disabilities and participate in the day-to-day operation of the house including performing household duties (cleaning, cooking, shopping, reporting maintenance issues, supporting to health appointments / school)

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday.

Please note that the following compliance documents are required if successful for the role:

- A current Victorian Driver's License
- Working with Children Check (Or willing to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Or willing to obtain one)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Or willing to obtain one)
- Successful submission to the Victorian Carer Register

**To be successful for this position, applicants must be qualified or be willing to enrolled into a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and out of home care). Successful applicants requiring this qualification will be enrolled into the course by the Program Manager at Gateways. This is a great opportunity to upskill and further develop your skills and experience**
