**The Company**
Resourceful Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a respected electricity transmission operator. They are the central link in the electricity supply chain, transporting high-voltage electricity from the generators to the electricity distribution networks.
**The Role**
As the Document Controller you will be responsible for working across multiple projects to support the internal team by being the expert in developing and improving document control plans and systems. Ensuring the security and integrity of the information is maintained.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Take leadership in the development, review and continuous improvement of the Document control plan and systems
- Maintain system access to specific folders, files, pages through a hierarchy of control to ensure security and integrity of information
- Maintain project registers
- Provide advanced support for the team in the use of the MS office suite of products including templates used for consistent presentation of information.
- Be engaged and proactive to participate with the implementation of new tools and systems
- Ensure all hard copy documentation is scanned and saved electronically within the document control system
- Proactively (and if necessary/appropriate) outsource peer review of audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement
- Respond to queries and requests for information on documents from the Customer or internal team, stakeholders and project service providers;
- Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk with document registers.
- Provide administrative support to the HS&E Lead with scheduling training, audits and assessments, and maintaining project/training records and registers
**Key Criteria**
- Experience using Teambinder is highly desirable
- Previous exposure to working on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
- High attention to detail also proactive on improving policies and procedures.
