**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Purchasing, Systems and Processes Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end Accounts Payable process by working as part of the team to ensure supplier invoices and staff reimbursement requests are paid in a timely manner within strict deadlines.

**The role will see you with primary responsibility of**:
Processing supplier invoices, non-purchase order invoices and staff reimbursements

**Maintaining vendor files and verify their details (i.e.**: ABN, registration for GST, bank details)
Adhering to the GST legislation and FBT legislation, bringing any potential FBT liabilities to the attention of the manager for review before reimbursement is processed
Maximising efficiencies to ensure continuous improvement in payment processes
Preparing accounts payable information/reports for the management

**About You**:
Relevant qualification with minimum of 2 years’ experience in end-to-end accounts payable role
Demonstrated experience in processing staff reimbursements
Good knowledge of GST legislation and familiarity with basic FBT requirements
Good reconciliation and investigational skills
Ability to process high volumes & meet deadlines
Strong understanding of the procure to pay process and accounting for goods and services
