**About the role**:
As a Marketing Specialist you will be part of the marketing team designing marketing campaigns to promote the conferences to senior level executives from government, healthcare/agedcare, supplychain and Indigenous.

Akolade is a fast growing and innovative corporate event company committed to growing large scale events within distinct sectors including government, health care / aged care, supply chain and Indigenous.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Undertaking market research to identify market opportunities, consumer patterns and trends
- Identify ongoing challenges, trends and needs in a variety of sectors
- Topic generation based on market needs
- Communicate effectively with interdepartmental teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting business growth through the preparation and execution of marketing

strategies and campaigns
- Develop marketing content to support sales and marketing campaigns
- Analyse data in relation to attendee patterns and preferences

**Essential criteria**:
At least two years strong and relevant experience marketing with proven ability to be customer focused and have the ability to clearly topic generate and develop strong campaigns.

Marketing experience in the learning event and conference industry would be much appreciated.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- A university bachelor’s degree and/or five years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification
- Knowledge and understanding of the learning event industry and its specificities
- A passionate attitude and a 'can-do' mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong research and content generation skills
- Reliable and able to take initiative while multitasking
- Able to articulate market research into compelling program content
- A keen eye for detail
- Exceptional business acumen and analytical skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
