We have an opening for a Receptionist to join our GMHBA Dental Care team in Geelong. This is a permanent full time position.

**About the role**

GMHBA Geelong Dental Care is committed to delivering high-quality dental services with a focus on prevention. You will be the point of welcome to the practice and support quality patient care through high levels of customer service and a professional and friendly approach. You will greet everyone in a welcoming manner whether face-to-face or over the phone. You will manage the appointment system in consultation dentists and dental nurses and maintain patient records and accounts. You will be responsible for professional communication with patients, practice staff, colleagues and others involved in patient care.

You will hold patient confidentiality in high regard at all times and support broader administration and operational tasks including online systems and records, stationary stocks, practice security and the general tidiness of the practice.

**About You**

You will have demonstrated reception experience, competent working on different computer operating systems and be motivated to learn. With your focus on customer service and patient care you will perform work of a very high standard. You will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. You are comfortable working both autonomously as well as in a team.

You are committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic. You are a true team player, who contributes positively to your team to deliver an exceptional level of customer service to our patient base.

Experience in the following would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a dental reception or similar administrative position
- Previous experience in the use of EXACT
- Working knowledge of Windows based software systems (e.g., Word, Excel)
- An understanding of dental procedures,
- An understanding or experience in general dentistry accreditation and standards
