**About the role**
The key responsibilities of the Buyers Assistant will be to:

- Assistant Buyers in building commercial ranges.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely responses to queries and concerns.
- Co-ordinate and communicate Buyers weekly itineraries.
- Support Buyers in writing orders and changing PO's of non logistic/dating issues.
- Ensure that all samples are controlled in an effective and timely manner.
- Support Buyers in the Market and act as point of contact.
- Organise travel for buying/intake teams.
- Support Buyers in preparation for sign-offs, strategy and other meetings (strategy packs, mood boards, samples, presentations).

**Skills and experience**
- University Degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years in a busy Administration role.
- A genuine interest in retail, with retail experience and the desire to develop a career within the Buying function.
- Strong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
