**The Role**
The Defence Cyber College (DCC) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable applicant to join the team as Contracting Officer.

The DCC is a new training establishment in partnership with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) that deliver defensive and offensive cyber training to cyber warfare operators.

The Contracting Officer is accountable under broad direction to undertake a range of procurement and contract management activities, and to provide commercial advice to DCC team.
- They will have a wide range of opportunities to develop their procurement and contract management skills in a highly supportive environment.
- They will be exposed to unique opportunities to learn client-level procurement and contract management practices, lead internal and external stakeholder engagement on complex contract management activities, and to identify and implement strategic initiatives focused on improving division level business management activities.

**About our Team**
The Defence Cyber College is located within the Joint Information Warfare Facility (JIWF) at HMAS Harman and will open officially in late-2023.

The College will provide a long-term sustainable pipeline of trained personnel to support the delivery of joint cyber warfare effects to ensure Defence is able to protect, monitor, detect, and respond against cyber incidents or to target adversary systems.

Defence will partner with ASD to deliver advanced cyber warfare training. This partnership will enable the acceleration of the portfolio’s defensive and offensive capabilities, as well as providing ongoing certification of qualified personnel.

The team currently has free parking at our working location in Fyshwick, and parking at HMAS Harman will also be free when the JIWF opens in late 2023.
