**How will I Help?**
As a Fraud Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the wider FCFP business by analysing, monitoring, implementing, and re-calibrating detection strategies to mitigate ongoing risk and financial loss from fraud. You will consider emerging fraud and scam trends and scenarios and create system rules to ensure there are mínimal impacts on the customer experience, product profitability and brand reputation.
**Some of the key accountabilities are**:
- Analyse and interrogate data to support fraud/scam detection.
- Identify emerging fraud/scam trends then implement and recalibrate detection scenarios in the relevant systems.
- Receive inputs from industry stakeholders on emerging trends.
- Liaise with key financial institute partners.
- Work with other Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention teams to educate and assist with any required operational adjustments.
**What do I need?**
- Technical skills in some SQL or other programming languages.
- Previous exposure within a Fraud/Scams/ Risk environment is desired but not essential.
- Experience in competitive zero-sum games such as chess, poker, online gaming fits nicely with the thought processes required in the role.
- A degree in computer science, maths or other related certification is desired but not essential.
