**About the Centre/Service**

Our kindergarten is situated in a quiet, leafy part of Mont Albert North, just a short stroll from Mont Albert Primary School, where many of our students go on to attend. We focus on providing children with opportunities to learn and develop through play. Through play, children learn to develop skills across all areas of development (social/emotional, cognitive, gross and fine motor skills). We’re proud to have been awarded the highest quality rating - Exceeding National Quality Standards (NQS) under the National Quality Framework (NQF). Children are at the centre of our approach; our programs are renowned for being relaxed and responsive to children’s needs and interests. We are committed to providing a Child Safe Environment for all children and families.

**Description**
- We are looking for a Diploma qualified Co-Educator to join our team. The role will be 7.5
- **hours on a Monday plus non contact hours,** paid at a VECTEA (2020) Award salary. The level will depend on qualifications and experience. Your responsibilities will include:

- Interacting with children to gain insights into their strengths, interests, skills, and knowledge.
- Contribute to the planning cycle and record keeping of the children.
- Work together with colleagues to provide safe, supportive, inclusive, and educationally stimulating environments for all children.

**Qualifications**
- An Australian Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education as recognised by ACECQA.
- A Current Working with Children's Check.
- Meet the Requirements of the National Quality Standards (NQS) including First Aid Certificate, training in Asthma, Anaphylaxis, etc.
- Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to work cooperatively, productively and respectfully with the committee, staff, families and children.
- Applicant should be reliable, enthusiastic, dedicated, cooperative and self-motivated.
- Able to demonstrate their ability to provide safe and high quality planned care and educational programs that assist the overall development of the children attending the Centre.
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for the National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and to drive and support other staff in this area.
