**About North Western Program Alliance**:
North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of four Alliance partners - John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals.
Since 2017, NWPA has had a proven track record with the successful delivery of eight level crossing removal projects (13 LX) and several premium stations, with two projects currently in delivery (4 LX) and three in development phase.

**Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
- Monitor compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the project management team.
- Administer, monitor and evaluate the project safety programs.
- Assist with conducting incident and accident investigations that may require litigation.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and monitoring work areas.
- Establish positive working relationships with project personnel and raise awareness of safety risks.
- Assist in the development of communication tools and records for all project safety meetings.
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project safety programs.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable legislative requirements including government regulations, standards, and policies.
- Review specific high risk planned works to be undertaken to ensure compliance with the method of work.
- Support the communication of safety requirements to the project.
**To be successful in this key role, we are looking for**:
- Previous experience in a Safety Advisor position on large infrastructure projects.
- Safety experience within the rail environment is highly regarded.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Knowledge and skills in safety management techniques and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- People focused with the ability to build strong relationships.
