**People and Culture Consultant**
- Flexible work environment that offers flexible start and finish times, the opportunity to WFH 1 day per week during the school term, and the opportunity to work completely remotely during school holiday periods
- Full time or part time, (4 day per week).
- Inner-West location, parking on site and easy accessibility to two train lines.
**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
The People and Culture Consultant will be responsible for all matters across Employee Relations (ER), Learning and Development (L&D) and the promotion of innovative and strategic initiatives that promote continuous improvement, positively impacting the overall team culture.
**Responsibilities include**:
- All aspects of ER that include case management, investigations, policy adherence and expectation setting to ensure continuous improvement across performance, conduct, and team culture
- Taking appropriate action to ensure integration of effective risk management, compliance with legislative requirements and alignment across the People and Culture Strategy
- Overseeing the professional development of staff, upskilling the team to promote continuous learning, and the design and delivery of the schools’ approach to developing talent and succession planning
- Consulting with staff members and engaging with diverse stakeholders, providing advice, and strengthening relationships to develop strong networks and position key issues to achieve positive outcomes
- Supporting employees with developmental needs and implementing initiatives to drive feedback, performance, and employee engagement
- Contributing to the operational and strategic plan of People and Culture and supporting the Head of People and Culture as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven success in a similar role overseeing ER and L&D related matters
- Experience investigating and resolving employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner in accordance with policies and employment law
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and promote positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Commitment to the continuous development of staff and the promotion of a positive team culture aligned with organisational values
- Excellent communication skills, high levels of confidentiality and the ability to build strong relationships earning trust and credibility
