- A certificate IV or higher in Building and Construction or related field (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in residential and commercial construction projects
- Experience with projects ranging from ($20K-$500k)
- Demonstrated experience in estimating works and project management with the ability to coordinate works programmes
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Can do attitude
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Experience and skills in WH&S and QA
- Good customer service skills - is a priority
- Along with private / client construction works familiarity with insurance repair and rectifications of buildings would be advantageous
- Not afraid to get hands dirty if the occasion arises
- Experience with delays, variations to the contract, design changes, cost overruns, status reporting & contracts

Responsibilities include:
The main focus will be assisting the Construction Manager in supervising and estimating works, engaging and co-ordinating trades during the construction process, inspecting works and materials for compliance to building code/s which range from $20K to $500K. You will work amongst a team of supervisors, subcontractors and tradesmen and provide construction knowledge and support to the team on an ongoing basis. You will have initiative, be able to execute a plan, be able to adapt and be an integral part of the team. We appreciate that all our people are vital links in the chain and without them we would not be where we are today.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
