**About the role**

Sonomatic are seeking an Advanced NDT Tube Technician to carry out High Technology NDE work on plant and assets at client sites.

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 year's experience in inspection services with knowledge of alternative inspection technologies and the ability to consistently deliver high quality results.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the Project Manager to establish project requirements;
- Conduct project inspections;
- Manage the on-site phase of projects;
- Supervise assisting personnel;
- Report inspection results;
- Comply with NDE procedures set out by the company and clients;
- Responsible for project on-site activities, and securing and managing necessary support to complete on-site work;
- Responsible for risk assessment and management during the phases of a project.

**Skills and experience**
- Basic background knowledge of NDT;
- Minimum 5 year's experience in inspection services with knowledge of alternative inspection technologies;
- Ability to deliver consistently high results in a production environment under constantly changing client requirement and tight schedule conditions;
- Basic Level 2 training as per SNT TC 1A or EN473 Guidelines;
- Experience in computer based technology and commercially available reporting software;
- Qualified to PCN, ASNT Level 2 or equivalent in Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Inspection.
