**Overview**

Are you an experienced Trainer/Assessor with a background in Civil Construction and traffic control? We are seeking a suitably qualified Trainer/Assessor to deliver traffic control and white card training and assessment services at our sites in Port Macquarie and Newcastle.

**Primary Purpose of the Position**

Deliver training and assessment services for qualifications in traffic control, implement traffic control plans, prepare a work zone traffic management plans and White Card (General Construction Induction Card).

**Key accountabilities/responsibilities**
- Delivery of face-to-face training and assessment to students
- Contribute to and update training and assessment materials in line with industry standards and/or training package changes
- Provide feedback on RTO course content and delivery to ensure quality training products
- Mark student assessments and deliver encouraging feedback

**Essential Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in training and assessment for traffic control and white card
- Ability to integrate real life examples of industry experience and knowledge to support the student learning experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Student centred approach
- Flexibility
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of RTO compliance framework
- Willingness to learn and undertake professional development
- SafeWork NSW High Risk Assessor accreditation is highly regarded

**Qualifications**
- Hold either Cert IV TAE 40116 OR TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment PLUS the following units: TAELLN411 or equivalent and TAEASS502 or equivalent.
- RIISS00054 - Traffic Controller Skill Set or equivalent
- RIISS00055 - Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set
- RIISS00056 - Traffic Management Designer Skill Set or equivalent
- Have at least 2 -3 years industry experience relevant to training
- Hold the following qualifications and SafeWork (NSW) Cards
