**Description**:
To support organic growth, CentralNic is looking for an ambitious Bookkeeper to join its Corporate Team. You will be reporting into Senior Financial Accountant and this role will ideally be based in Brisbane, Australia.

As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the effective management of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Registry Management function of the APAC region.

**Key outcomes of the role**:

- Transactional management of the banking facilities of the Instra Groups cash requirements to ensure funds are transferred, as and when required in order to meet financial obligations.
- Maintain the day to day data entry into accounting system, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Management of Debtors to ensure that all invoices comply with internal policies and procedures
- Ensure that all invoice are recorded accurately and payments are made in a timely manner
- Management of Creditors and ensure that Invoices are issues, where applicable, in a timely manner
- All revenues are accurately recorded daily and reconciled to our back end reporting systems on a monthly basis.
- Respond to enquiries and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards and other accounts.
- Management of Instra Aust credit cards to ensure funds are available, adequate receipts are received and spending limits are not exceeded
- Manage and reconcile petty cash
- Undertake other accounting duties as assigned.

**Registry Management**
- Liaise and Maintain registry invoices and balances
- Monitor and top up registry accounts as required to ensure continuity of business
- Ensure all top up payments made to registries have been received and applied to account
- Ensure all registry invoices have been reviewed for accuracy and paid in a timely manner.
- Monthly Reconciliation of prepaid Registry Accounts
- Provide Reporting as required to the Financial Accountant
- Be instrumental in the development, communication and implementation of changes relating to the group wide management of registry accounts

**General**
- Assist in budgetary control, as required
- Assist in taxation, internal and external audits, and preparation of management reports and statutory returns, as required
- Provide support to the Financial Accountant for monthly & year end procedures
- Provide support, relief and assistance to other positions within Finance as required
- Assist in any other financial operations as per the direction of Financial Accountant
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, gateway providers and suppliers to ensure you have a network of knowledge and resources to perform your role
- Ensure all activities comply with accounting compliance requirements, legal requirements, ethical standards and group policies and procedures
- Ensure all tasks are performed with accuracy, discretion, judgment and confidentiality

**About you**:

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper
- Experience in dynamic, high volume complex environments
- Experience in multi-currency environment
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Beginner to Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with Xero is desirable, but not essential
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Focus on deadlines and deliverables
