Dock Freight Officer

**About the Role**

Centurion in Perth is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join the team full-time as a Freight Officer. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of general square freight, ensuring all loads are secured and restrained correctly.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Processing of fridge/freezer freight from beginning to end
- Operating a forklift to load freight/pallets in a safe and timely manner
- Secure and restrain all loads in a safe manner as per load restraint guide
- Ensuring correct labelling and identification of goods
- Providing good customer service and communication to couriers and customers
- Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
- Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured/packed correctly for dispatch and loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times

- Previous experience in a fast-paced operational environment or warehouse
- Current WorkSafe High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and processes
