**The Role**

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is an entry level role which plays a central role in supporting the QHSE Team with ensuring Krispy Kreme’s continued adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements across Australia and New Zealand.

This multifaceted role will work collaboratively with QHSE, Operations Development Team’s and various other departments as required to enhance the overall efficiency of QA administration, coordinating external and internal auditing schedules, and facilitating communication both internally and externally. By fostering a culture of quality excellence, the coordinator will support Krispy Kreme in continuously improving and developing our high-quality products and processes with an emphasis on compliance and customer satisfaction.

In this sweet role you will be:

- Scheduling and coordinating the HACCP certification program ensuring audits are taken place at required intervals, field teams are kept well informed, and all records associated with external audit program are maintained and retained as required.
- Assist with the implementation of quality systems and associated documentation to close gaps identified in Food Safety and Quality Assurance audits.
- Scheduling and coordinating with field teams site verification activities, ensuring internal system compliance and all testing records are well organised, available, and retained.
- Provide support with the management of all Quality and Food Safety programs including all documentation to ensure relevancy, such as but not limited too Critical Control Points (CCPs), Quality Control Points (QCPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Creation and updating of Product Information Guides (PIGs) for all core range and promotional products.
- Assist the QHSE Team with the maintenance and management of the Recall and Allergen assessment programs, ensuring that regular tests of process are carried out and all risks have been rectified.
- Demonstrate effective relationships with all key stakeholders across Krispy Kreme as required.
- Active participation in Key Projects as required, and supporting cross functional activities as they arise
- Continual knowledge building and risk identification on food safety and quality statutory requirements.
- Support the Quality Assurance Supplier audit program to be executed on time and to standard.
- Support the Krispy Kreme internal audit program, by completing audits as required and providing coaching and support to field operations teams.

**Education**
- Any Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related technical discipline (or studying towards)
- Other training such as: Internal Auditing, Formal HACCP Training, Allergen Management & GFSI (or studying towards) is highly regarded.

**Experience**
- No experience necessary as full training will be provided, however, previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Operational experience within bakery manufacturing company or QSR highly desirable.
- Knowledge in GMP- Best Practice
- Knowledge of auditing practices, Food Safety and QMS
