Dental Assistant Traineeship

Mitcham, Australia Career Employment Group Full time

As a Dental Assistant Trainee you will undertake a 12 month Training Contract where you will learn on-the-job. Gaining valuable industry skills.

As a Dental Assistant trainee you would assist a dentist, dental hygienist or dental therapist during oral health care procedures, to help maintain high standards of infection control and to assist with practice administration.

You may also undertake the following:

- Prepare for and assist with oral health care procedures
- Assist with dental radiography
- Assist with administration in dental practice
- Participate in workplace health and safety
- Assist with oral health and education

To be considered for a Dental Assistant Traineeship the following is required:

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Be willing to learn and adaptable to changing work priorities
- Be able to manage time efficiently and work well under pressure
- Have a willingness and understanding to work with people from different backgrounds
- Able to work a flexible working schedule
- A commitment to a long term career in Dental Assisting

**Salary**: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
