Building Technician

D&E Air Conditioning Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Technician to join our team at our Adelaide, SA location in a **full-time position**. In this position, you will play a vital role in assisting in various phases of building works and construction with our clients.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with on-site assessments to determine ducting work requirements, using standard tools to gather necessary data.
- Inspecting work and materials for compliance with regulations, specifications, and standards.
- Supporting coordination and supervision of subcontractors and other trades involved in ducting-related tasks.
- Prepare and revise plans and specifications requiring works.
- Conducting site measurements, moisture surveys and taking photographic evidence, which will be uploaded to our workflow management system.
- Interpreting ducting plans, codes, and best practice guidelines to support compliance.
- Working with the project team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of ducting services and related systems.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Process survey data, plans and models using industry-standard software.
- Calculating costs and estimating time scales and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Relevant vocational qualifications will be highly regarded.
