- Permanent Full Time
- $70,756pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 8, Schedule 2 of our EBA
- 9 day fortnight - with a roster of 5 in 7 working days and every third weekend
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Caboolture & will work across the region

- Have day to day engagement with members of our community and visitors to our wonderful region.
- Communicate and educate to achieve positive compliance outcomes and help people understand our local regulations and animal management laws.

This is all in relation to Council’s Local Laws, policies and relevant State legislation and includes, but is not limited to:

- performing compliance patrols within the region’s streets, parks and public areas
- impounding vehicles, animals and illegal devices and goods
- investigating and responding to complaints
- delivering quality advice, direction, and solutions to the community

The Local Laws Ranger positions require successful applicants to be available to work any **5 out of 7 days** as part of the ordinary hours and participate in council's "**After Hours On-Call** and Programmed Overtime Roster" service. This will include **working every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday).**

**About you**

As an effective communicator, you will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, enabling you to educate and converse with a range of internal and external stakeholders in sometime challenging situations.

You will be an ambassador of Council and enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable working remotely across our vast region

You will have experience in managing a busy workload and actioning a range of administration tasks using online tools, technology, and software.

Whilst not mandatory, experience or qualifications in investigations, enforcement or animal management would be highly regarded.
